- Setup NF equipment.
- Place electrodes accurately according to the 10-20 montage system
- Carry out prescribed training protocol
- Setup client in a timely manner for NF (10 min)
- Recognize abnormal EEG, either real or due to equipment setup
- Read training EEG and make appropriate threshold adjustments to achieve optimum training
Level 1a – all of Level 1 plus
- Sample hair for analysis or give instructions for sampling at home
- Process hair samples for submission to lab.
- Print out hair report
Level 1b – all of Level 1 and 1a plus
- Setup qEEG equipment
- Take client measurements and install qEEG cap accurately
- Conduct qEEG acquisition accurately
Training:
Successfully completed (pass the examination) the Introductory Training or Home Training Program.
10 hours of supervision for Level 1 and 1a

Level 2
- Manage client during NF
- Ensure full engagement in the feedback
- Provide encouragement/rewards
- Ensure good training trends
- Record observations of client during training
- EEG trends and changes
- How the client feels during the training
- Performance in terms of score trends
- Manage parents during NF
- Minimize negative interference
- Encourage positive engagement – cheer child to score points
- Explain progress at end of session
Training:
Successfully completed (pass the examination) the Introductory Training or Home Training Program.
10 hours of supervision for Level 2
Level 3
- Conduct intake questionnaires
- History checklist
- Gather feedback from parents
- Observation of behavior
- Performance changes
- Generate module progress report for review
- Generate NF EEG trend charts with annotations
- Compile feedback from parents and observations during NF
- Analyze progress report of client
- What kind of progress is the client making?
- Is it positive or negative
- Is client moving toward goals of training? (Parent’s goal and NF goals)
- If not, why and what must be done? And why?
- If yes, explain what to do next based on series of protocol established at beginning of NF training
- Conduct module review with parents
- Generate case report
Training:
Successfully completed (pass examination) the Intermediate Program. Therapist will have to submit 2 case studies.
10 hours of supervision for Level 3.
Level 4
- Historical development of NF
- Knowledge of who’s who in the NF industry
- Knowledge of NF protocols that are used in-house and other in-house complementary therapies
- Knowledge of NF protocols used in the industry – who is doing what and why
- Knowledge of key researches in NF
- Current issues and developments in NF
Training:
Successfully completed (pass examination) the Intermediate Program. Therapist will have to submit a essay on the current state, issues and research direction in NF community.
5 hours of supervision for Level 4.
Level 5 – Practitioner’s Level
- DSM IV diagnostic criteria
- Issues concerning diagnosis
- Issues concerning conventional intervention, both medical and alternative
- Be familiar with current research directions in diagnosis and intervention
- Know what most people are doing as intervention
- Know the limitations of available therapies
Level 5a
- Practitioner without L1-4 (Academic)
Level 5b
- Practitioner without L2-3
Level 5c
- Practitioner
- Done 5 cases successfully with case reports submitted
Training:
Successfully completed (pass examination) the Intermediate Program. Therapist will have to submit an essay on the application of NF in a specific field such as ADHD, Autism and etc.
10 hours of supervision for Level 5.
Level 6 – Advance Level
- Design qEEG tasks
- Analyze and interpret qEEG charts
- Write qEEG reports
- Explain significance of qEEG with clients and discuss NF training needs
- Recommend NF training protocols
Level 6a – all of Level 6 plus
- Conduct HTMA consultations
- Recommend nutritional, dietary and detoxification programs
Training:
Successfully completed (pass examination) the Advance Program. Therapist will have to submit 5 case studies in qEEG analysis.
10 hours of supervision for Level 6.
Level 7 – Masters Level
- Design new NF protocols and nutritional therapies
- Conduct experiments
- In depth understanding of neuroanatomy/physiology
- In depth understanding of natural and alternative therapies
Training:
Successfully completed (pass examination) the Advance Program and the Nutritional Program. Therapist will have to submit a Thesis that involves a case with multimodal intervention.
10 hours of supervision for Level 7.
Level 8 – Ph.D. Level
- Design new therapies
- Conduct research
- Publish papers
