Spectrum Learning has integrated cutting-edge technologies from the fields of health science, psychology and education, to provide a holistic model for its clients to help improve the ability to learn and perform.
The Spectrum-integrated approach is comprehensive and unique. It recognizes that every individual is bio-chemically or genetically different. Using this approach, we assess the individual and recommend a program that is tailored specially for that individual.
The Spectrum BrainEx program consists of:
- Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
Gain insight on level of nutritional contents and unravels traces of toxic
elements in your body. Embark on a nutritional therapy to rectify a mineral
deficiency or surplus, and/or detoxify your body.
- Brain Mapping
qEEG assessment will be conducted to analyze your brainwaves while
he/she is engaged in specific tasks, in order to determine the neurofeedback
training protocols.
- Neurofeedback
Exercise your brain according to training protocols determined through qEEG
using neurofeedback devices interfaced with stimulating games, music and/or
video modalities.
- Home Training Program

History of Spectrum Learning
and the Founder
Dr. Kenneth Kang, Ph.D. (Educational Psychology) founded Spectrum Learning Pte. Ltd. in 1995. He is a pioneer in the field of Neurofeedback Therapy. Since 1995, he has been providing therapy for children with developmental disorder and those with learning difficulties /disorders.
Dr. Kang pioneered the functional qEEG analysis technique (qEEG Brain Map). This is a technique which can reveal regions of the cerebral cortex which are inactive when the subject is engaged in a specific task. He is also developing a coherence analysis technique to study task related activation over time. Dr. Kang has been actively engaged in developing other non-invasive stimulation techniques which can enhance brain functioning. These include pulsed magnetic stimulation and pulsed electric field stimulation.
He upholds a holistic approach and developed a Neurofeedback program that observes one’s lifestyle and biological factors such as dietary habits and nutritional needs.
Dr. Kang is the founding member of EEG Associates (USA), an affiliate member of EEG Spectrum International (USA). He is well plugged into the Neurofeedback communities of the USA and Australia.
